‘Shuck and Jive’ is street slang from the 70’s, that was heard mainly throughout the black community, and is defined as ‘intentionally misleading words and actions’. (1)

Here’s what Obama’s said recently when answering questions about Libya: “What my attitude on this is, if we find out that there was a big breakdown, and somebody didn’t do their job, they’ll be held accountable. Ultimately, as commander in chief, I’m responsible, and I don’t shy away from that responsibility. My No. 1 responsibility is to go after the folks who did this, and we’re going to make sure we get them.” (2) Read the rest of this entry »

While Sandy rages don’t let its fury distract you. Stay with talk radio stations across the US (Mark Levin, Mike Gallagher, Hugh Hewitt, Roger Hedgecock, Michael Medved, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingram and of course, Rush Limbaugh) to get the latest updates on Benghazi. These people are dedicated to keeping the story in the spotlight.

As Tom Cotton, an Army Ranger (also running for US Congress in Arkansas’ 4th Congressional District) put it,”When I was in Iraq and Afghanistan, when you hear gunfire in another sector, you don’t wait for the battalion or the brigade command to tell you to go engage as a quick reaction force. You move to the sound of gunfire, and you save American lives when they’re under fire.(2)

As one host said, what the Obama Administration is doing is “disgraceful, distracting and ducking (the questions).” There were troops within close proximity and “you don’t investigate when your people are under fire, you don’t bring the enemy to justice, you kill them”. (3)

After Mogadishu, a ceremony honoring Sergeant First Class Randall Shugart and Master Sergeant Gary Gordon was held in the White House. Herbert Shugart, Randy’s father, refused to shake Bill Clinton’s hand telling him; “You are not fit to be president of the United States. The blame for my son’s death rests with the White House and with you. You are not fit to command.” (4)

The families of Ty Woods and Glen Doherty can also say the same about Obama, Susan Rice and of course, Hillary Clinton.

Reports are starting to surface that the naval commander, Rear Admiral Charles M. Gaouette, ‘replaced’ over the weekend had something to do with Benghazi, while rumors are floating about that General Carter Ham, head of the U.S. Africa Command, has also been canned.

Ham wasn’t about to fall on his sword for the administration and released a statement saying forces were available, but no order was received for them to act.

Keep these two guys (Master Sergeant Gary Gordon, left and Sergeant First Class Randall Shugart, right ) in mind, because what we’re seeing unfold is a repeat of that happened in Mogadishu in 1993 – guess who was running things then?

Be prepared to contact our representatives and have them get to the bottom of things. However, there is something you can do about it come November 6, and that is to vote this administration out, and get our troops a commander-in-chief they deserve. One who has their best interests, and ours, in mind.

The White House keeps telling stories about Libya, with the latest coming from Defense Secretary Leon Panetta who said; “the basic principle is you don’t deploy forces into harms way without knowing what’s going on.” (1) Really?

“The public cannot be too curious concerning the characters of public men.” Samuel Adams

The Obama Administration tells different stories on Libya, especially since information surfaced they supplied weapons to rebels, really Islamic extremists, who then killed four Americans and have also fought against American troops. (1) Read the rest of this entry »

“And there arose another generation after them who did not know the LORD, nor yet the work which He had done for Israel.” Judges 2:10

The three debates, one of which was between the VP candidates, generated a flurry of activity on social networking sites.

Like the recent one between Obama and Romney, one could feel the tension when reading a number of the posts.

Even though the president’s “forced” defense of his poor record (especially on Libya) disintegrated before the nation, I found it astonishing that two people who are acquaintances of my family and who have come from fine Christian homes, are voting for Obama. One thought Candy Crowley did such a superb job, one of her posts called for her to be our next president. What universe do these people live in?

The problem, as in the days of the Judges, is that previous generations failed to do a good job instilling our Christian heritage and the truths of scripture into these kids. I’m sure more of them are out there, too.

The fault doesn’t lie with the church or pastors, but at home. Perhaps, their parents did teach them and it just didn’t take root (Matthew 13:3-4,19).

This would be sad, if it wasn’t so frightening.

If I were involved in a street fight I’d want Joe Biden on my side, because he knows how to fight dirty.

Street thugs will ‘sucker punch’ their opponent to gain the advantage, and while they’re on the ground they will continue their beat down as they attempt to recover. Read the rest of this entry »
