Instead of watching a vice-presidential debate last night, what we witnessed was a “bum rush” on Paul Ryan perpetrated by moderator Martha Raddatz and Vice President Joe Biden. Were you surprised?

Ryan held his own very well, looked like a statesman, but took some lumps against a very experienced ‘street-fighter‘ – something that was expected. Understand that Biden was dispatched to wake up the radical element of the democrat party. He may have, but in the long run his sanctimonious conduct may have soured a number of decent people, including many women. Remember when Obama called for a return to ‘civility’? Where was it last night?

What incensed many was the way Biden, on behalf of Obama, continually lied to us about what happened in Libya. This is a foreign policy disaster, and at the same time poses a serious threat to us. Biden‘s chuckles when Ryan tried to raise the issue may have left a bad taste in the mouths of prospective voters. But, only the results of November 6 will tell if this is true.

This is what happens when people like Biden, and a whole host of others, are allowed to return to Washington year after year. Before becoming VP, Biden had been Delaware’s senator since 1973, with some contending he never held a job in the private sector after leaving college. Caeser Rodney would turn over in his grave.

Career politicians such as Biden have been in office so long they feel have they been annointed to rule over us. They have become millionaires, continually returning to the public trough mooching off the backs of taxpayers, acting as if they’re kings and queens. Well, who’s fault is that?

Judging by the way Biden danced around the Libyan crisis, they also think we’re stupid. His actions, in light of the death of the four Americans, show a complete disdain for us and our system of government.

As the election approaches, think on the words from Pastor Matthais Burnett and how important it is for you to vote correctly.

“Consider well the important trust . . . which God . . . [has] put into your hands. . . . To God and posterity you are accountable for [your rights and your rulers]. . . . Let not your children have reason to curse you for giving up those rights and prostrating those institutions which your fathers delivered to you. . . . [L]ook well to the characters and qualifications of those you elect and raise to office and places of trust. . . . Think not that your interests will be safe in the hands of the weak and ignorant; or faithfully managed by the impious, the dissolute and the immoral. Think not that men who acknowledge not the providence of God nor regard His laws will be uncorrupt in office, firm in defense of the righteous cause against the oppressor, or resolutly oppose the torrent of iniquity. . . . Watch over your liberties and privileges – civil and religious – with a careful eye.” (1)

We have many troops in harms way deserving of leaders who have the best interests of America in mind. The debate was meaningless, what matters most is whether or not the Obama Administration has the security of America at the forefront. They say they do, but their actions show they don’t.

Its time to vote them out of office. That, as Pastor Burnett told us, is one of our main responsibilities as Chrisitan’s at this hour.

So you see, the deck was stacked from the get go.

I could barely contain myself from jumping through my tv set and punching Biden. He was so rude, disrespectful and made a complete fool of himself. Praise to Ryan for not losing his cool and walking off the set!!
PTL for Pastor Burnett’s words. All Christians need to heed and pray the words of 11 Chronicles 7:14 for our nation.

Don’t get too upset, the deck was stacked long before this debate aired. Ryan was in control his emotions, which made him look like a serious candidate. Biden, on the other hand, came across as arrogant.
