‘Shuck and Jive’ is street slang from the 70’s, that was heard mainly throughout the black community, and is defined as ‘intentionally misleading words and actions’. (1)

Here’s what Obama’s said recently when answering questions about Libya: “What my attitude on this is, if we find out that there was a big breakdown, and somebody didn’t do their job, they’ll be held accountable. Ultimately, as commander in chief, I’m responsible, and I don’t shy away from that responsibility. My No. 1 responsibility is to go after the folks who did this, and we’re going to make sure we get them.” (2)

Here’s what the President said today after an impromptu press conference speaking about the after effects of Hurricane Sandy; “This is a tough time for a lot of people; millions of folks all across the Eastern Seaboard, but America’s tougher. And we’re tougher because we pull together, we leave nobody behind, we make sure we respond as a nation and remind ourselves that whenever an American is in need, all of us stand together to make sure we’re providing the help that’s necessary.”

‘We leave nobody behind’, that is except when they’re being murdered in Libya by Islamic extremists. Try convincing the families of the four men who were left to die of this.

On a national radio talk-show today, one host read a number of questions to his audience that Howard “Buck” McKeon (R-CA), the top Republican on the House Armed Services Committee, directed to President Obama. (3)

Here are the questions McKeon is demanding that Obama answer:

1) “To whom did you issue this first directive and how was this directive communicated to the military and other agencies–verbally or in writing?“

2) “At any time on September 11, 2012, did you specifically direct the military to move available assets into Libya to ensure the safety of U.S. personnel in Benghazi? If so, which assets did you order to Libya?”

3) “At any time on September 11, 2012, other than ISR assets, did you provide the authority for the military to take any and all necessary measures to secure U.S. personnel, including specifically the authority to enter Libyan airspace?”

4) “Did you have any communication with the Secretary of Defense, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, or any Commanders of regional Combatant Commands regarding military support to U.S. personnel in Benghazi on September 11th? If so could you please describe any recommendations provided to you regarding available military support and any orders you gave them?” (4)

Reading Romans 13:1-7 in light of this statement will shed new light on this passage. It did for me.
