There’s an old saying which reads; “The heart is more deceitful than all else, and desperately sick…” (1) Translated, this means people are capable of committing the most awful crimes, like we saw manifested in the manner Ambassador Christopher Stevens was murdered.

Americans are livid because the president is out campaigning, is more concerned with apologizing and protecting the religion of Muslims, than he is in promoting the Bill of Rights. People are also perplexed by the conflicting statements coming from the White House, while reports are surfacing that the state department was forewarned of an eminent attack, yet did nothing.

Many people, including a number of high profile conservatives of talk radio, are calling the administration clueless and incompetent, among other things, while our influence in the world declines. I don’t buy it, but believe those in power at the moment welcome this confusion.

Remember, nothing happens by accident. For years, left-wing radicals have been working to divide our country based on class, race, war, Israel and political parties, something that accelerated beginning in 2009.

These ‘lefties’ have also entered into an “unholy alliance,” (2) if you will, with Islamic extremists, both bent on the destroying the American way of life.

Years ago, a prominent radio talk show host called them by name, Marxists, but no one paid attention to him (3). The chilling thing is, many now occupy positions of power in the United States.

To these people, the end justifies the means. Disruption in the region may not be their only goal, but maybe in the states, too – just in time for the elections to be suspended. Don’t think so? A preview of what could transpire may have reared its ugly head on college campuses across the nation, today. It doesn’t matter how many buildings are burned, or how many people, including the president’s representative, are killed, just as long as there’s a ‘division of the house.’

I can see them using the current unrest in the middle east to foster more of a rupture between Americans.

Samuel Adams, the Father of the American Revolution warned; “He who is void of virtuous attachments in private life is, or very soon will be, void of all regard for his country. There is seldom an instance of a man guilty of betraying his country, who had not before lost the feeling of moral obligations in his private connections.”

A number of people holding office tonight have been involved in some revolting, high-profile scandals over the years, and have connections to nations and individuals that seek the annihilation of America as it was founded.

As the saying goes, humans are capable of anything, even selling out one’s own country.

One Comment to “Selling out?”

  1. Susan Fulcher Says:

The thought of something drastic derailing the elections has crossed my mind. Obama has not only shown his ignorance but lack of leadership this week–which maybe all in his plan. Christians must take a stand. It is the only way to stop him from fulfilling “The Dreams of His Father.” If you haven’t seen “2016,” I urge you to see it. Then the next night go see “The Last Ounce of Courage.” We must stand with our last ounce of courage.
