MuhlenbergNo, I didn’t watch the president’s “dog and pony show” the other night. Can’t stand listening to Obama lecture us and CNN is a terrible news outlet.

Having Obama for a president reminds me of some characters in scripture. I’m sure the ancient Israeli’s hated listening to Saul after Samuel warned them not to make him king. Wonder how they felt with Ahab and Jezebel, Athaliah and the Herod’s?

Dr. J. Vernon McGee does a masterful job in his commentary on Isaiah 3:1-5. He believes if a nation isnt “producing great men or qualified men” for office, it’s because of God’s judgment. (1)

Yep, we get the leaders we deserve.

Whenever Obama addresses the country Rush Limbaugh promises to break things down for his audience the following day, and seeing that he ‘took one for the team’ and suffered through Obama’s droning, I’ll let him provide his excellent commentary. Besides, he makes the big bucks to give us his expert analysis.limbaughchair

As usual, the president’s position is filled with lies, distortions or revisions. He lied again when he gave his version on how America came to into existence – which he said was based on “a conspiracy.” That’s what Marxists do; they lie and twist your history around to their advantage.milsci-battles-open

How about this idea that the United States was born “suspicious of some distant authority”?  Do you realize, folks, what that means?  Do you realize what Obama has just admitted here?  It has been a contention of mine since I first began learning about Barack Obama that he believes this country is illegitimate.

He believes the founding is unjust and illegitimate. The Founding Fathers are nothing special to him.  He believed this country was founded with slavery and racism and all the bigotry and all the other stuff, and it was basically a white man’s club set up for the rich to hold on to what they had.

How about this way of describing it? Stuff like this is why I’m writing these children’s books on the truth of American history. (Obama impression) “The United States was born suspicious of distant authority.”  Is wasn’t suspicion of anything.  They were long past the suspicion.  They were escaping tyranny.  First, it was religious freedom that was denied.  Hello, Pilgrims.  Welcome, Plymouth Rock.  And then it was the overall tyrannical control of Great Britain and King George that they wanted to escape.  There’s no great conspiracy about it! It wasn’t “some distant authority.”  It was the Crown, and they no longer wanted to live subordinated and subjugated by it!

But to Obama, “authority” should always rule and always win, and anybody suspicious… I mean, he is an authoritarian.  He believes in the authorities being great and not flawed.  He believes that everybody ought to bow down and unquestioningly obey authority, when he is the authority.  So in his warped mind, “The United States was born out of a suspicion of some distant authority.”
It wasn’t distant!  The Redcoats were living in their homes, for crying out loud!  The king required the colonists to house the opposing army, for crying out loud.  It wasn’t some distant authority! They were being taxed out the wazoo.

It was a quest for freedom unlike the world had ever seen before, and Obama is certainly not proud of it.  He holds it in some disgust, actually.” (2)

Obama never tells it straight, which is why I don’t waste time listening to him.

It was also no accident this circus was held in Virginia, because the state played a huge role and provided the heavy-hitters that helped form the country. Men like Washington, Henry, Jefferson, Lee and Mason to name a few.bj_Virginia-ppt

Virginia also had some great preachers in that day. One was Peter Muhlenberg and on January 21, 1776 he delivered a sermon from Ecclesiastes 3 which starts with; “To every thing there is a season…”; after reading the eighth verse, “a time of war, and a time of peace.”

He then declared, “And this is the time of war,” removing his clerical robe to reveal his Colonel’s uniform. The next day he led out 300 men from the county to form the nucleus of the Eighth Virginia. Muhlenberg’s unit was first posted to the South, to defend the coast of South Carolina and Georgia.

In early 1777, the Eighth was sent north to join Washington’s main army.
Muhlenberg was made a Brigadier General of the Virginia Line and commanded that Brigade in Nathanael Greene’s division at Valley Forge.” (3)

Another cop was shot in Philly following Obama’s town hall. The bad-boy ran up to the officer’s “roller” wearing muslim garb and pumped rounds, some reports say up to 13, into the cruiser. The officer, although severely wounded, exited his vehicle and gave chase. He returned fire wounding the thug, which led to his being captured a short time later.694940094001_4692513537001_fec66bf6-befc-4be6-8fee-7ed5a4f07e9a

The police commissioner reported the guy confessed to detectives that he converted to Islam, was in possession of a gun stolen from the police department two years earlier, and admitted to shooting the cop in the name of allah.

Moments later, the new mayor of Philadelphia ran to the mike and lied to us, tripping over himself trying to convince us the attack wasn’t inspired by Islam.

Instead, he called on the government to take our weapons. It’s also been reported this guy was elected, in part, due to the financial support he received from “haji’s” living in the community.

We’re at war, and if an Islamic radical isn’t going to fear taking on an armed, highly trained police officer, he won’t be deterred coming after you. You’re small potatoes; a soft target, if you will.

Get in shape. Back off the Dorito’s and ice cream at night, the fried chickey and burgies.

Start a regular workout program. Get on a bike if you live in a warm climate. If you don’t, go down to the gym and use one. Lose some of that blubber that’s accumulated around your waist and butt over the years.

Build up your wind, and by all means pay attention to your surroundings.

Take a trip to a local shopping mall and find a seat. Then, watch people as they go about their business and learn to spot who’s up to no good and who isn’t. You’ll be surprised at what you see.

Then, practice, practice, practice with your firearm. “Perfect practice makes perfect,” some say. There’s a big difference cranking rounds at a paper target and at an armed subject armed trying to kill you.troiani-lexington-green

The attacks in Philadelphia or in San Bernardino have been taking place in Israel for some time. Now they’ve reached our shores, in part because God is lifting His hand off of us as we turn from Him. We can’t expect to be safe on the streets while we, Christians, stand by as millions of babies are butchered.

When you’re in a restaurant or other public venue, place yourself in an area that gives you the advantage to act quickly in the event one of these moron’s decides to go off on you.

Remember, get in shape and practice, practice, practice.
