If you haven’t noticed it, the elites are trying to wear us down by constantly bombarding us with negative news. Today in Michigan, sub-zero temperatures forced schools across the state to close.

I can’t help but think of what our troops endured at Valley Forge, Trenton and the Chosin Reservoir. Most of the injuries sustained by American troops in North Korea were due to frostbite because of the brutal weather conditions. Despite that, our guys killed over 35,000 Chinese soldiers. (1)

Today, we don’t even try sending kids to school when “Old Man Winter” sends a patch of rough weather our way.

Leadership at all levels is not only working to discourage you, they’re destroying the rule of law and anyone opposed to their radical agenda. President Obama is vowing to by-pass Congress if he doesn’t get his way, and is using federal agencies to assault those who have criticized him.

The Attorney General of Virginia, Mark Herring, with the full support of Governor Terry McAuliffe, hasRalph-Northam-Terry-McAuliffe-and-Mark-Herring said the state’s ban on same-sex marriage is unconstitutional and he will not defend it. All three, along with US Attorney General Eric Holder, have violated the oath they took.

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo launched an attack on conservatives last week, telling them they’re not welcome in his state. Hey, isn’t the Statute of Liberty located there? That’s right, it is!

You know the line; “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddle masses yearning to breathe free.” That is unless you support the 2nd Amendment, believe marriage should be between one man and one woman, and that all life is sacred.

The senior senator from New York, Charles Schumer, has called for the destruction of all conservative groups and also wants to use the full force of the federal government to do it.

Pastors aren’t interested in standing against this, while those in the seats can’t wait long enough until the last song is finished before exiting. How can they expect to preserve liberty if they can’t wait an extra five minutes or devote an hour or two each week to pray for things threatening us? Answer; they won’t!

It’s dark, but as long as the flame of liberty burns within your heart things aren’t hopeless.Negotiations Continue On Capitol Hill One Day Before Debt Limit Deadline

Mark Levin said we’re in the midst of a “political, non-shooting civil war that could get ugly.”

I wish many people understood just how serious these times really are. Truth be told, only God can impress this upon them. I only hope He does.

Thanks for the perspective on the school closings Steve. That word: perspective, is one of the most critical needs of our day. It affects absolutely everything. Sadly, I surmise that it is more about preventing law suits than even ‘protecting’ the kids.

You are so right on the rest too. He’s got a pen and and a phone; that’s all he needs. Except for the LORD, he desperately needs Him.
