It seems the time of Jacob’s trouble and the last week of Daniel is upon us.

We know that Israel survives! The last words Jesus said to the unbelieving Jews were “Behold, your house is left to you desolate; and I say to you, you will not see Me until the time comes when you say, ‘ BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD!’” Luke 13:35 (also Matthew 23:39)

And all will be fulfilled. When at last their proverbial back is against the wall the Jews do indeed call out to their Messiah King! Their eyes will be opened as ours were, and He will be revealed to them in their own scriptures. And yes He will come in their defense once more – HE IS their Deliverer – The Holy One of Israel!

Question is, will America survive! If so certainly not the America we know. It seems we believers will have gone to meet our Lord in the air whether by death or rapture by then while the task of evangelism will be handed back to the 144,000. We have fared no better than Israel at being a light to the world.

We better get busy with the Lord’s work reaching others while we can.
