In 2 Corinthians 3:17 we’re told ‘where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.’ Get the connection? The opposition does, and it’s a huge reason they’re moving to kick God out. Our leadership, like Saul, has intentionally turned away from God’s and His commandments. When this occurs His blessing (and our liberties) are lifted from off our land and as we know, nothing good happens.”

There is a Hollywood fim called: THE BOOK OF ELI, which if viewed with the built in edits to foul language by the station airing it, illustrates your point – profoundly.

The lead character is charged with delivering a ‘book’ to an unknown destination out west, on foot. He must traverse the barren, destitute, filth and fearsome, post atomic blast landscpae to get there.

Along the way, he encounters a couple of horrific hand to hand battles before arriving in a survivors town of sorts. The one governing this hell hole with an iron fist, is obsessed with finding a very specific ‘book’, and will stop at nothing to aquire it. Before our leading man departs from this place, it is discovered that he has in his possession, the FINAL copy of the King James Bible left in the U.S.A. – Every other copy was sought out and destroyed, due to its power. And it is precisely due to the power of its Words, that this despicable tyrant wants it; for he believes that whomever has this ‘book’ – controls the people.

I won’t completely spoil it for those who may wish to see the film, but I do warn you that it contains very realistic violence of the sort that I sincerely believe that we are likely to see for real – if – our national and global leaders continue down the path they have chosen for the nations of the earth.

Scripture tells us that the people of GOD perish for lack of knowledge. Most who name the Name of Christ, do not study His Word. Most who name The Name do not attend in depth Bible Study; and most who name The Name, will never have the the honor and privilege of sitting under a true shepherd who will help them to navigate this life through all of the muck and mire, by instructing them on how to follow the only compass that is of value – that is of value, to those who name The Name of Him who is THE KING of Kings and THE LORD of Lords: the Holy, infallible Word of the Living GOD.

The people are in the process of perishing. Who will awaken the shepherds???

Don’t ever stop writing these Blogs. They are an encouragement to me. I have been feeling defeated the past few weeks, but this has been encouraging.
